On Monday, November 6 the Town of Penfield held a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the construction of a new restroom facility at Veterans Memorial Park.The facility, which includes two single bathrooms, is located adjacent to the softball field complex in the southwest corner of the park. The project has been funded in part by a generous grant from Senator Samra Brouk. The Town of Penfield covered the remainder of the cost.
“Our softball complex is heavily used by our community, and this an important project that adds restrooms close to the fields,” said Town Supervisor Debbie Drawe. “I want to thank Senator Brouk for her funding assistance to help bring this project to fruition.”
