Visitors to Veterans Memorial Park will notice construction activity as work is underway on a new permanent bathroom facility to better serve park visitors.The facility, which will include two single bathrooms, will be located adjacent to the softball field complex in the southwest corner of the park. Work is expected to last through the summer. Visitors to the park are asked to avoid the construction area and adhere to any posted signage.
Construction of the new facility is being funded in part by a generous grant from Senator Samura Brouk. The Town of Penfield is covering the remainder of the cost.
