On Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m. the Town of Penfield will be hosting a ribbon-cutting event for the newly constructed Penfield Children’s Garden.The Children’s Garden, which is located at 1748 Five Mile Line Road behind the Penfield Community Victory Garden, will provide opportunities for kids to explore, experience, and learn hands-on about growing food, healthy eating, and caring for the natural environment.
The garden was built using grant funding from the Genesee Valley Regional Market Authority.
