Construction will widen and resurface the existing intersection, add left-turn lanes in each direction, and add a right-turn lane southbound on Five Mile Line Road. The traffic signal and sidewalk will be replaced and will include ADA-accessible ramps.

Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout construction using lane shifts and temporary lane closures. Paving may be done during nighttime hours to help prevent further traffic congestion at the intersection.

Motorists will be kept informed with variable message signs and temporary work zone traffic control signs on site. Real-time traffic and construction updates can also be found by visiting www.511ny.org

If you have questions or concerns regarding this project, please contact Brent Woodhouse, Engineer in Charge, at Brent.Woodhouse@dot.ny.gov, or by phone at 585-364-3009.
