New Native Pollinator Garden in Full Bloom
native pollinator gardenNew Native Pollinator Garden in Full Bloom
Check out the lovely native pollinator garden on the island in the Community Center traffic circle - it was planted earlier this year and the plants are really taking off now!

This project was spearheaded by the fabulous Megan Meyer (of Color Penfield Green and Healthy Yards Monroe County) and a group of wonderful volunteers. Thanks to their tireless research, planting, watering, and tending in all kinds of weather, we get to enjoy a lovely view that will benefit our state's native species of pollinators.

Thank you to Penfield Recreation Department for co-sponsoring Megan's pollinator garden workshops for community members earlier this year with us, and thank you to the Town of Penfield for supporting this fantastic project!
