
Throughout the day-long event, local artists, musicians, professors, and hobbyists will showcase the many ways seniors can be creative in their post-retirement years. Events will include artists from Artisan Works and Penfield’s Art Stop, Mid-Century Modern Jazz Quartet, Rochester Ukulele Orchestra, Hula dancing with Jean Hamel Smith, The Creative Brain presentation by Jack Kowiak, Boomwhacker Karaoke, Panel on the Creative Process, hands-on acrylic painting, card making workshop, and many other activities.
This conference-style, day-long program includes workshops, classes, and performances highlighting creative ideas for seniors to stay engaged after retirement.
Registration is $25 and includes lunch and hard cider tasting by Blue Toad Hard Cider. This is a FUNdraising event for Daytime Education at Recreation (DEAR). DEAR offers free classes to lifelong learners all year long, Monday - Friday.
