Plan your library visit

Plan your visit to Penfield Public Library
We look forward to seeing you! PPL is in the process of reopening to the public in steps, so our services and hours are limited. Please view this infographic to learn the services we will offer and the cooperation we will need from our visitors to ensure staff and patron safety during each step. We are currently on Step 2 of reopening.

A completed contact tracing form is required by the Town of Penfield and a mask must be worn at all times while in the Penfield Community Center. The contact tracing form can be filled out at the table in the Community Center lobby just outside of PPL's entrance. For patrons who do not wish to provide contact tracing information, you are welcome to utilize curbside pickup (a mask must be worn to pick up your curbside library materials).

Returns must be made to our outdoor bookdrop only, which remains open 24/7. We cannot accept returns within the library itself.

Items returned to PPL via our bookdrop undergo a mandatory quarantine period that requires a minimum of 24 hours to complete, after which your items will be discharged from your account. You will not be charged overdue fees for the days your items are in quarantine even if your account lists those items as overdue.
