Supervisor Debbie Drawe announces open house at Penfield DPW on October 14

The community is invited to attend an open house at the Penfield Department of Public Works (1607 Jackson Road) on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will showcase DPW equipment and offer tours of the facility.

If your youngster has an interest in trucks, this is a great opportunity to get an up-close experience with a variety of equipment. From dump trucks to payloaders, bring your kids to interact with the equipment that keeps the Town of Penfield moving.

During the event, two tours of the DPW facility led by DPW Director Eric Tait are scheduled. Each tour should take no longer than a half hour and will begin at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. The tours will detail the limitations of the current facility and outline plans for a new facility.
