About

Penfield Community Television (PCTV) operates in accordance with the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) PEG directive, where cable providers allocate specific channels for community use. Originating on a shared cable channel that broadcasted across neighboring communities, PCTV established its independent identity in 1985 and has been headquartered in the Penfield Town Hall since 2000.

PCTV's primary mission is to deliver access programming that informs, educates, instructs, and entertains primarily the residents of the Town of Penfield. Continuously advancing its technological capabilities, PCTV collaborates with local groups and school districts to enhance community engagement, while fostering transparent communication between local government and the community.

For nearly 40 years, PCTV has served as a cornerstone in Penfield, offering a platform for diverse and meaningful content. Committed to empowering community members through expression, education, and government transparency, PCTV remains an invaluable tool for residents to stay informed and engaged in local affairs.

Penfield Television's current staff provides over 100 years of experience in communications, technology, and broadcasting.
