With his term underway, Leenhouts has identified three areas of priority:
- Advance current projects including the new DPW facility
- Continue to strengthen partnerships with law enforcement to ensure Penfield is a safe and thriving community
- Identify Town services and programs that can be added or expanded
To mark the transition to new leadership, a swearing-in event was held on Wednesday, January 3 at Penfield Town Hall. Along with Supervisor Leenhouts, Town Justice Paula Metzler, and Town Board members Linda Teglash and Kevin Berry were sworn in at the Wednesday evening event. Metzler, Teglash, and Berry will each serve four-year terms that began on January 1.
Leenhouts, Teglash, and Berry join Bob Ockenden and Candace Lee on the five-member Penfield Town Board.
