Penfield DPW to host final brush drop-off, document shredding event on October 21

The final brush drop-off event of the season will take place on Saturday, October 21 at the Town of Penfield Department of Public Works (1607 Jackson Road) from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Free secure document destruction will also be offered onsite from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Services offered:
  • Brush drop-off from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • Accepted: Branches and shrubs only
    • Not accepted: Large stumps, leaves, grass clippings, concrete, or other debris
  • Secure document destruction services by Certified Document Destruction & Recycling from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"I encourage all residents to take advantage of this final drop-off opportunity of the season and the additional document shredding event," said Town Supervisor Debbie Drawe. "I want to thank our DPW staff for working hard to provide additional weekend brush drop-off opportunities this season, and we look forward to offering the service again next year."

This event is for Penfield residents only. Proof of residency will be checked at the gate.
