We want to make Penfield Public Library the first place members of our community think of when they want to share, learn, and discover. The tax revenue we receive is our primary source of funds to operate the library, but we rely on additional funds donated by supporters to help achieve our vision.

General Gifts
We are grateful for the permanent and tangible support your gift will provide, no matter what the amount. General donations may be made through the Penfield Public Library Foundation, which is administered by the PPL Foundation Board. Gifts may be held in the Foundation until a specific need arises. The PPL Foundation is an IRS-approved charitable entity established to receive and manage bequests and general contributions to the Penfield Public Library. Your gift to the Foundation is tax-deductible by law; since tax laws are constantly changing, we recommend that you discuss the income tax and/or estate tax ramifications of any giving opportunity with your tax advisor.

Specific-Use Gifts
We welcome contributions in the form of a check designated for specific materials, equipment, programming, books, records, videos, magazines, or reference materials. These contributions may be made in appreciation of the library, in honor of a special person to commemorate a life event (e.g., career/educational accomplishment, anniversary, etc.), or to memorialize a beloved family member or friend. Please make your check payable to Penfield Public Library, and send in care of Bernadette Brinkman at 1985 Baird Road, Penfield, New York 14526.

All donations are accepted at the discretion of the Library Director. If you would like help with making a gift to the Penfield Public Library, please call the Library Director at (585) 340-8720. For specific-use gifts, you may make a safe, secure donation by credit card.

We are grateful for your support, both financially and in your endorsement of our place in this community. Thank you.
