Councilman Andy Moore
Town Board Andy MooreAndy Moore was first elected Penfield Town Councilman on November 4, 2008; he was re-elected by Penfield residents in 2009, 2013, and 2017. His current term ends in 2021.

Councilman Moore is Chair of the Town Board Law & Finance Committee where he works closely with Supervisor LaFountain on budgetary matters. Andy also serves as liaison to the following boards and committees: Community TV Advisory Board, Penfield Little League, and is Chair of the Town Transportation Committee. He has served as Public Safety liaison to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Penfield Volunteer Ambulance, and the Penfield Volunteer Fire District.

Councilman Moore has sponsored two "Operation Safe Child" Clinics with Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn. Andy also sponsored a "Penfield Passport Night" with former Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo. 

Andy was raised in Penfield, attended Scribner Road Elementary School, Bay Trail Middle School, and graduated from Penfield High School (Class of '89). As a youth, he played Penfield Little League, Penfield Youth Soccer, and was a Boy Scout in Troop 9 at Harris Hill Elementary School, achieving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout. Andy enjoys volunteering with the Boys Scouts of America and has served on Eagle Scout Board of Reviews. He was also a member of the Penfield Bicentennial Committee.

Andy is a graduate of Colorado State University, and currently resides on Jackson Road with wife Nicole. They are the proud parents of Thomas and Kate.
