Town Clerk Amy M. SteklofAmy Steklof has served as Penfield Town Clerk since her appointment in April 2009. She was elected to a four-year term in November 2009, a second four-year term in 2013, a third four-year term in 2017, and a fourth four-year term in 2021.

Amy's Professional Accreditations and Memberships include: Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC), Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), Notary Public Marriage Officer, Marriage Officiant, New York State Town Clerk Association (NYSTCA), Monroe County Town Clerk Tax Receiver & Collector’s Association (MCTCTR&CA) (Treasurer,  Vice President, President), International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) Vice President, Cornell Municipal Clerks Institute (CMCI) Class 2011-2014, National Association of Professional Women, New York Association of Local Government Record Officers (NYALGRO).

Amy is a lifelong Penfield resident and graduate of Penfield High School. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Hartford. Amy has been married to her husband, Kevin, since 1984. They have three children (Michael, Jason, and Jessica) and one miniature poodle (Lyla). Amy volunteers with the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf and the Shepherd Home in Penfield.
