Conservation
As of January 4, 2023, the Penfield Town Board has combined the Penfield Energy and Environmental Advisory Committee and the Conservation Board to form the Energy and Environmental Conservation Committee (EECC). This webpage is now inactive and serves as a historical reference. For the most current information, please visit the EECC page.

The Conservation Board provides an environmental review of a construction project application submitted to the Town of Penfield. The board reviews the property and issues an advisory report related to environmental protection and management. This report is submitted to the lead agency of the said project, such as the Town Board, Planning Board, or Zoning Board of Appeals.

The Conservation Board is a nine-member body that meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 PM.
