Penfield Town Hall now proudly boasts a second electric vehicle charging station thanks to the hard work of the Town of Penfield facilities team.Led by facilities foreman Jim Kreckman, the team of Wayne Fisher, Charles Wynn, and Jay Robinson worked together to run conduit and add the second charging station. The charging station sits directly behind the Town Hall facility and is adjacent to the first charging station, which was installed a few years ago. Use of the charging station is free.
Grant funding received through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Clean Energy Communities Program helped cover equipment and installation costs for the charging station.
Each day, the facilities team handles various building and maintenance projects across all Town of Penfield facilities. From building repairs to painting to furniture installation, the team ensures all Town of Penfield facilities are in working order for staff and residents alike. This latest project is yet another great example of the work the team does each day.
