In this hands-on workshop, discover the history and meaning of Adinkra symbols found throughout West Africa. Then explore the basics of printmaking. With a little practice using the brush, move on to choosing a symbol for yourself and printing it on a t-shirt. You will have produced your own wearable piece of art by the end of class.
