Penfield Heroes Wall unveiling set for December 7 at PCC
The newly created Penfield Heroes Wall will be formally unveiled on Wednesday, December 7, Pearl Harbor Day, at Penfield Community Center (1985 Baird Rd). The event will begin at 10 a.m.

Located inside Penfield Community Center’s main corridor, the Penfield Heroes Wall was created in partnership with Braman American Legion Post #1229, and honors members of the Penfield community actively serving in the United States Military.

Members of the Braman Post, representatives from the Town of Penfield, and families of local service members will gather for the event. The public is invited to attend.

“I look forward to recognizing our hometown heroes with the Penfield Heroes Wall, particularly on a day of such significance as Pearl Harbor Day,” said Town Supervisor Marie Cinti.
