PPL Offers Public the Opportunity to Plan Library's Future

Staff and trustees of the Penfield Public Library are looking for input from Penfield residents in developing the library's strategic plan. The strategic plan will look at the needs for services, programming, and materials over the next five years.

"Because the library is a resource for all members of the community, the library offers a variety of opportunities for Penfield residents to participate," says Rhonda Rossman, Library Director. "It is our hope that we hear from as many residents as possible with thoughts on how to improve the library and the services it offers to the Penfield community."

Sessions include:

In-person workshop on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:00 PM in the Ruth Braman Room at the Penfield Public Library, 1985 Baird Rd., Penfield; refreshments available. Register for the in-person workshop here.

Virtual workshop via Zoom on Wednesday, May 25 at 7:00 PM; a link to the virtual workshop will be emailed to registrants. Register for the virtual session here.

Online survey available digitally and paper copies available at PPL's Reference Desk; the survey will be posted between May 1 and May 27 and may be completed here.

Information from the sessions will form the basis for the strategic plan, which will be available for residents to review in July. Further information and the strategic plan draft will be posted to the library's site at penfieldlibrary.org.

Thank you for helping to improve your library and its service to the Penfield community!
