Reassessment public information session set for April 27

The Town of Penfield will be holding a public information session on the 2022 Town-wide reassessment on Wednesday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium and via live stream. Due to capacity limitations in the auditorium, property owners are encouraged to utilize the live stream however in-person attendance is possible as well.

Joseph H. Emminger, President of Emminger, Newton, Pigeon, & Magyar Inc., will lead the information session. Emminger has worked with municipalities in the region over his career guiding the reassessment process. Please note, Emminger will be joining virtually.

The session will begin with an overview of reassessment including why it takes place and how it impacts taxes. Following the presentation, a question-and-answer session with Emminger will take place covering the reassessment process. Please note, questions on specific properties will not be addressed during the Q&A. In total, the event is expected to last roughly 90 minutes.
