World War I: Lessons & Legacies
Stop by PPL to check out our latest special poster exhibition World War I: Lessons and Legacies which will be on display for several months. It examines how the Great War accelerated major changes already underway in the lives of Americans - changes that continue to impact our world today. These include the changing role of women, advancements in medical innovations, and changes in how advertising rallies public support.

This exhibit is organized by the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) and the National Museum of American History, with funding from the United States World War I Centennial Commission and the Smithsonian Women's Committee.
