Brush drop-off temporarily relocated to parking lot behind Town Hall
Resident brush drop-off has temporarily moved to a new location as construction begins on the new Penfield Department of Public Works facility. Effective Wednesday, June 12, resident brush drop-off is now available in the parking lot behind Penfield Town Hall (3100 Atlantic Avenue).

The process for brush drop-off remains the same with the service operating Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., except holidays. Trucks and equipment will be onsite to direct residents and load brush into trucks as soon as it arrives. The parking area will be emptied each day before evening activities.

Monthly Saturday brush drop-off will remain at the DPW (1607 Jackson Road). The next Saturday drop-off event takes place on Saturday, June 15 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As a reminder, only accepted materials for drop-off include:
  • Branches
  • Shrubs
The following items are not accepted:
  • Stumps
  • Leaves
  • Grass clippings
  • Concrete or other debris
