Penfield Players presents...

In a remote estate in the countryside, Jack Brooks, one of the most accomplished and eccentric painters of his generation, awaits the imminent arrival of his art dealer. But this is not a typical visit, for Jack feels wronged and he is intending to kill the man. As Jack lays out his intentions for the evening, his wife, Annie, calmly paints, reluctantly going along with the plan - at least until Jack's threat of violence convinces her otherwise. Will Jack carry out his plan? Will Annie help him or stop him? Or is something else going on? A masterful murder mystery with a touch of comedy, and winner of the 2000 Edgar Award for Best Mystery Play.  (Joe DiPietro is also the author of Over the River and Through the Woods, one of the Penfield Players' most popular shows).
