Town of Penfield to hold free COVID-19 test kit distribution event on December 11

The Town of Penfield will be hosting a free COVID-19 rapid test kit distribution event for Penfield residents on Saturday, December 11. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. while supplies last at Penfield Town Hall (3100 Atlantic Avenue, 14526).

The drive-thru style event will allow Penfield residents only to receive one free COVID-19 rapid test kit which includes two tests in total. One test kit will be distributed per vehicle. Town of Penfield residency verification will be required. All vehicles should enter through the town hall entrance on Atlantic Avenue and follow onsite instructions. Please remain in your vehicle at all times unless otherwise instructed.

Test kits are available through the Monroe County test kit distribution program from which the town received roughly 9,300. When utilizing test kits, please follow test kit instructions and Monroe County Department of Public Health testing guidance.
