Penfield VEA Annual Awards Ceremony

The work the PVEA does is impressive. They respond to more than 4,000 calls annually and log more than 55,000 volunteer hours of service to provide high level emergency response to Penfield and surrounding communities for mutual aid support.

I would like to highlight and recognize special awards. Edmund P. and Margaret M. Finucane received the Outstanding Service Award. This is PVEA’s highest honor and recognizes a member(s) who, over a period of time, have consistently worked to maintain the integrity and vision of PVEA.

Brett B. Whitnable received the ALS Provider of the Year. This award recognizes the person who went above and beyond to serve PVEA with exemplary dedication, responsibility, professional behavior, and skill when providing pre-hospital emergency medical care. Selena R. Cockhern received the BLS Provider of the Year. This award recognizes the person who went above and beyond to serve PVEA with exemplary dedication, responsibility, professional behavior, and skills when providing pre-hospital emergency medical care.
