With new development within the town and changes to its rural character in certain areas, revisions to the official “Hunting Map” have been proposed for consideration. It is also proposed to change the name from the official “Hunting Map” to the Firearm Discharge Map.” The Town Board designated itself as the lead agency and classified the action as unlisted under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
