23Z-029: To construct a three-space garage in the backyard of the existing lot. The proposed garage will measure 40' by 50' and stand 30' tall. This is an amendment to a previous variance request, dimension changes to the building. The allowed setback to the property lines is 50' and the maximum height allowed is 20'. The side setback will be 10', which is an increase from the previous request of 5'. Additionally, there is a required setback variance because the building will be pushed further back to minimize any potential impact on neighbors. In moving the building farther back, the street level and building level will have a 10' grade difference; the building will sit 10' lower than the road, necessitating the same height variance.
