A fun-packed afternoon of great blues music, chili judging, and beer sampling at Penfield Amphitheater. Steve Grills and the Roadmasters will bring their hard-driving Chicago-style blues, along with special guests, to the stage. JW Dundee will be providing a line-up of locally brewed beer for sampling, chili contestants will have hot chili available for judging, and event goers can just enjoy the day. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and to round out the 2010 Amphitheater program!
Enter your favorite chili in the chili contest! Fill out an application form at the Recreation office, or see link above to print out and mail in.
Penfield Challenge 5K - VIII

The annual Penfield Challenge 5K will be held at 9:00 am, beginning at Penfield Community Center. Registration is $17 if received prior to 9/20, or $22 after 9/20. Race day registration opens at 8:00 am. The first 200 runners will receive a commemorative t-shirt and Nalgene water bottle. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers in each age category: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Course is certified to be accurate by the USATF/RRTC #NY04023KL.
