Penfield's Community Victory Garden organizational committee, with help from Penfield Girl Scout Troop 60732, will hold a bottle and can drive on Saturday, May 5, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Rd., Penfield.
The public is encouraged to donate their clean, returnable bottles and cans at this event. The drive will help raise funds to support the Community Victory Garden, a 100% volunteer-run project. Funds are used for maintenance of the garden.
Penfield Community Victory Garden is located on 3.3 acre parcel of town-owned land at 1747 Five Mile Line Rd. The garden was founded in 2009 and currently houses 88 beds which are rented to the public on a seasonal basis.
