Penfield residents and organizations recently completed a Recreation Input Survey as part of the public input on the 2018 Penfield Recreation Master Plan Update. The Master Plan Update Committee invites residents and organizations to participate in the next step in the process—a Community Input Forum—on Thursday, November 29, 7:15 to 8:30 PM at Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Road, Penfield.
“The more input we receive from the community, the more efficient the plan we can put in place for the next five years,” said Penfield Recreation Director Chris Bilow. “I encourage folks to come and participate in person, however, we realize not everyone will be able to attend, so there is also an opportunity to give input through our website.”
This event will allow an informal opportunity to interact with town staff, as well as the Master Plan Committee members, and share their vision for the future of recreation in Penfield. The focus of this session will be to gather input on the four core areas of the Master Plan: Facilities, Programs, Parks and People.
