The Planning Department provides technical support and recommendations to the Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Board and various town departments. It is also the responsibility of the Department to intake planning applications and facilitate them through the review process.

Please note that written comments are always accepted on any application, until a final decision is made. Once received, comments are forwarded to the reviewing Board. Comments are placed in the project file and become part of the public record. Also, the Planning Department is always looking for ways to improve our customer service and processes. We invite you to offer suggestions, questions, or comments.
